The week is over and the challenge is complete! I have to say that this challenge really made me appreciate the amount of options I typically have when choosing what makeup I wear. I enjoyed getting to know these products more this week, but I also found myself craving other products! I highly recommend trying this, it is a real trip! Here is a link to the original challenge.
On with the reviews!
Eyes:
Sleek Eyeshadow Palette: Oh So Special!
I definitely think that working all week with these matte colours helped me learn how to blend. However, I definitely missed some shimmer on my eyes!
Benefit Mascara: They're Real!
I am a convert to this mascara after using it all week. This mascara gave me beautiful, long, thick lashes that were not clumped together. Pretty much everything you would want in a mascara.
Brows: Maybelline Great Lash in Clear
As always, this is a staple for me and I have never tried anything else in my brows.
Face:
Primer: Benefit The Porefessional
I still don't really like this stuff. I would say that I am pretty much ambivalent at this point, I don't think it really did anything for my skin or foundation.
Covergirl Foundation: Stay Fabulous in 905
Still infatuated!
Concealer: Revlon Age Defying Concealer
My new favourite way to wear this concealer is right in the corner of my eye to help brighten. It blends really easily and has fairly good coverage.
Blush: Revlon Cream Blush in Charmed
These blushes blend so easily when applied with a stipple brush, I can see why there was so much hype. I am glad I grabbed this shade and Coral Reef when I saw them because I have not seen any of these anywhere for weeks!!
Highlighter: Benefit High Beam
I'm not super jazzed about this highlighter. I think powder is easier to work with and makes more of a statement. Long live Mary Loumanizer!
Powder: MAC Studio Fix in N4
Another staple in my collection, and I finally hit pan :)
Lips:
Hard Candy All Glossed-up in Love Bite
This stuff is just great. It applies so smoothly, and is incredibly creamy. It definitely stains the lips, and I found that I applied it several times throughout the day anyways because the stain was more fuchsia than berry, and I thought the berry colour was a lot prettier.
I think I'll try doing another challenge next week, maybe something new!
