The following post is going to be as comprehensive as possible. I am going to show swatches, and organize them into their different finishes. Continue reading to see. This WILL be pic heavy :) Expect reviews of these to follow once I have a chance to play around with them.

The Best
Looking through all of these blushes, I would have to say the one that truly blew me away was Charming. It is an insanely original colour, and it totally fits the bill for Radiant Orchid, Pantone' s 2014 colour of the year.
The Worst
I would have to see that I was least pleased with Dashing because it feels like more of a bronzer colour than a blush to me. This would really not suit my skin tone, and I don't typically wear bronzer, so I am not sure what I will do with this one!
The Fail
I had two malfunctions upon delivery of these products. The first was my fault, I popped the plastic out of the top of one of them in my eagerness to get to the inside. In my defense, these products were super-wrapped. They came in bubble wrap, inside a box, with more bubble wrap, AND a plastic seal. The second malfunction was that one of the mirrors had come unglued from inside the blush and fallen into the product. Luckily, it did not cause very much damage (see Enchanting).
I hope this post helps you decide which colours you might be interested in trying!
Thank you for posting! Even though I currently own about 75% of this collection, I sometimes find myself searching on the interweb, looking for swatches of all the colors to see if there is one I'm missing out on, and the opinions of others. I too feel like I took a small risk just buying them without being able to see them swatched or photos first, but I absolutely love these and may just go ahead and get the set. The quality, pigmentation and size are excellent for the price. Thanks for the review, it's the most helpful I have found yet!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your comment! I also struggled with deciding which colours to buy, so I ended up just getting them all, lol. The quality of these is stellar, and a staple collection for any blush lover :) Cheers!
DeleteI too also bought the whole set. Since there's so many colors, I wanted to depot them and put them into a palette. But I couldn't get them out of their packaging. I was wondering if you have tried it out yet and if so, do you have any tips
ReplyDeleteI tried using a push-pin through the tiny hole in the back of the blush, but this did not work! They seem to be glued down really well into the compact, which is disappointing if you want to de-pot them. I pushed as hard as I could with the pin and found that the pin just got stuck in the pan, lol. Have you had any luck?
